I'm not even kidding they laughed and finally said no you can't buy it separate. I didn't want wii fit and just wanted skate it with the balance board, and wii fit actually turned out to be fun. True story. Note: they will eventually sell the balance board separatly if you want to wait that long. Or you can go on Ebay and look for some one who is selling the balance board separatly.
